Apex Video to Flash swf flv Converter is an application that allows you to convert video from many different formats, like for instance avi, mpeg, mov, rm, wmv, vcd, dvd, mpg, qt, wma, asf, rmvb, vob, dat, 3gp, mp4, to SWF, FLV flash files. You can configure output parameters including audio and video bit rate, frame rate, audio samples, width/height, according to your needs.
Features include batch conversion support to allow you convert many simultaneous files, support for large files (above 2GB), and the possibility to automatically shutdown your computer after a long task is performed.
The program has a very simple interface without many interesting tools, only a preview screen and the ability to trim video (select start and end points of a clip to convert). There are no editing functions (like effects, crop screen, add watermarks, etc.) and you can't join multiple files or get snapshots of scenes in your videos.
If you need to convert a batch of files to FLV or SWF and don't need many editing functions, this program might be useful, not my first choice but you can test it by downloading the free trial available.
